Surrounded with wooded mountains, in the middle of the plane Slavonia, the Croatian granary and the most significant bee-keeping part of Croatia, by the old Romans already named VALLIS AUREA ( The Golden Valley), with a thousand year tradition of growing wine grape and producing wine, the region of Požega Valley is also the cradle of Croatian bee-keeping. As a founder of the Croatian major ecological holdings, it aspires to the production of the finest species of main-land honey.
The broad variety of plant communities, the trained bee-keepers and the cultivitation of the topquality grey native bee (Croatian Carnica ), enables the bees to harvest the nectar of plants from the family Prunus avium, Salix, Robinia, Tilia, Castanea, Rubus, Mentha and hundreds of other similar species, and even a greater speciality of this region is the rich bee pasture on the honeydew originating from the Quercus conferta the result of which is very dark honey, of a completely black colour, and it is also the honey richest with minerals.
The bee-keepers of this part of Croatia are organized in their bee-keepers association, which they named "VALLIS AUREA"". They have enhanced their knowledge for years at numerous conferences and seminars, and the quality of their hard work has been awarded wiht some ten rewards at the national exibitions of honey.
This was enabled to them by their own monitoring service of nectar production , whose information is available to each bee-keeper as well as the phytcommunity maps of bee pastures wide-spread in this region.
We are the leading assotiation for the up-to-date production of package-bees, and for the restocking of many apiares all over Croatia, even durning the hard condition for bee-keeping, caused by the bee varosis, in our apiares have always been bees for the market.

Okružena šumovitim gorama, usred ravne Slavonije , žitnice Hrvatske i pčelarski najznačajnijeg dijela Hrvatske, od starih Rimljana još nazvana ZLATNA DOLINA , s tisućljetnom tradicijom uzgoja vinove loze i vina ,područje Požeške doline kolijevka je i hrvatskog pčelarstva. Uz osnivanje najvećih hrvatskih ekoimanja pretendira i dalje proizvoditi najkvalitetnije vrste hrvatskih kontinentalnih medova.
Fitocenološka raznolikost, educirani pčelari te njegovanje kakvoće domaće sive pčele omogućuju pčelama prikupljanje nektara bilja rodova Prunus avium,Salix, Robinia, Tilia, Castanea,Rubus,Menta ,i stotine drugih pratećih vrsta, a još je veća posebnost u bogatoj pčelinjoj paši medljike hrasta sladuna (Quercus conferta ).
Ovo je najtamniji med, potpuno crne boje, a najbogatiji je med mineralima.
Pčelari ovog područja Hrvatske organizirani su u svoju pčelarsku udrugu, kojoj su i ime dali "ZLATNA DOLINA" Svoju educiranost godinama popunjavaju mnogobrojnim savjetovanjima i stručnim predavanjima, a kakvoću svog truda dokazuju s desecima osvojenih priznanja na nacionalnim izložbama meda.
To ima omogućuje vlastita služba monitoringa medenja, dostupna informacijama svakom pčelaru i izrađeni fitocenološki zemljovidi pčelinjih paša.
Vodeća smo udruga za suvremenu proizvodnju tzv. paketnih pčela, a za obnovu mnogih pčelinjaka diljem Hvatske i u teškim uvjetima pčelarenja uz varozu, iz našh je pčelinjaka uvijek bilo pčela za tržište.
